The Account-Based Marketing (ABM) contractor is responsible for executing highly targeted marketing strategies tailored to prioritized accounts. This role works closely with the business, sector, insights and sales teams to drive engagement, pipeline growth, and revenue from key accounts and in-flight opportunities (OBM). The ABM contractor leverages data-driven insights to implement personalized campaigns, orchestrate multi-channel outreach, and measure the effectiveness of ABM initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Market, Account & Competitive Insights
- Conduct research on target accounts, industries/sectors, and competitors to inform strategy and messaging.
- Regularly analyze 1st and 3rd party data from available sources to provide insights to business and sales teams regarding trends, ongoing and new opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Work with Insights & Growth team to leverage new enterprise tools.
- Sales Alignment & Engagement
- Partner with Sales to foster alignment and accountability between teams before, during, and after campaign launch.
- Work with sales and business leaders to align ABM/OBM initiatives with business objectives and account plans.
- Serve as a marketing point of contact for ABM/OBM campaigns, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between teams.
- ABM Execution
- Execute multi-channel ABM programs tailored to key accounts, industry/sectors, and domains.
- Collaborate with business, sales, account teams, and subject matter experts to identify Ideal Client Portfolio (ICP), target accounts, personas, buyer journeys, and value propositions.
- Oversee highly targeted, personalized, full-funnel marketing campaigns, including paid media, demand generation, nurture, and sales enablement.
- OBM Execution
- Partner with sales and pursuit teams to identify and prioritize in-pipeline opportunities:
- Renewals
- High-value deals
- Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies and campaigns to support specific sales pursuits and deal cycles.
- Create tailored content, communications, and experiences to influence decision-makers and buying groups at critical stages of the sales process.
- Track, measure and report on the impact of OBM initiatives on pipeline velocity and win rates.
- Campaign Management & Optimization
- Working with the Deloitte Digital Performance Marketing Manager, manage end-to-end campaign execution.
- Leverage available tech stack/tools to track performance and optimize campaigns.
- Manage 3rd party vendors (content syndication, programmatic media, etc.) to ensure success from campaign kickoff to closeout.
- Analyze data and provide regular reporting on ABM program effectiveness, ROI, and recommendations for improvement.
- Content & Thought Leadership
- Work with campaign leads and content teams to ensure we have tailored assets and messaging based on the campaign narrative for target accounts.
- Support the development of sales enablement materials: client stories, sales sheets, interactive tools, landing pages, and insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
- 4+ years of experience leading ABM campaign strategy and execution in B2B organizations
- 3+ years of experience utilizing marketing automation, CRM, and ABM/OBM platforms and insights tools to identify, segment, and analyze target audiences and opportunities
- 3+ years of experience mapping and optimizing buyer journeys and working with marketers to define and target ideal customer profiles (ICPs)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrixed team environment
- High proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $65 - $75 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
