The Work You’ll Do

  • Responsible for design and development of modern web-based applications, including program design, coding, testing, debugging, and requirements documentation at a mastery level under Deloitte Architect guidance.
  • Responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, building, deploying, and supporting application software that can work in a dynamic environment for multiple business areas and projects.
  • Ensures application design, development schedule, and implementation meet or exceed documented application scope/timeline, while adhering to established standards.
  • Performs technical design and maintain documents technical specifications. Assists application architects in the creation of application, integration, and architecture. Develops /teaches team members of these skills.
  • Reviews solutions to ensure they are aligned to architectural specifications and design. Investigates, reports, and corrects reported issues. Recommends performance improvements. Has an advanced foundation in designing and developing for non-functional requirements including reliability, availability, and performance, scale, security, and data integrity.
  • Analyzes business/ functional requirements and prepares development project schedule, tasks, and estimates.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of directly related experience including subject matter expertise in area(s) managed, as well as at least one year of leadership responsibility.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (While 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Awareness of architecture standards design and implementation (including strategy, user experience, performance, controls, stability, quality, innovation, and enterprise security requirements.
  • Must have clear communications skills both oral and written ability to negotiate in a non-confrontational manner to deliver a clear, well-structured and concise argument to support your opinion, using facts, pro's/con's, business justifications and other persuasion methods.

Preferred: 

  • Must have ability to work in fast paced environment, balance priorities and juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must possess a strong desire and clear understanding for high customer satisfaction.
  • Must be flexible, have good energy, easy to work with and a team player.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of cost accounting principles
  • Knowledge of SAFe Agile development methodology.
  • Proven delivery experience.
  • Cost Accounting experience and/or successful completion of Cost Accounting university coursework (strongly preferred)
  • Ability to work across multiple crossfunctional teams for issue resolution and/or production enhancements
  • Major ERP system experience a plus
  • Proven functional system integration across multiple environments
  • Basic understanding of AI concepts
  • SAP experience a plus
