Position Summary

Join Deloitte’s automotive transformation teams to support dealership transitions from legacy dealer management systems to Tekion Automotive Retail Cloud (ARC). This role focuses on dealership accounting operations and helps accounting teams prepare to work accurately and efficiently in the new platform. The contractor will work with Controllers, Office Managers, and accounting staff to support implementation activities, end-user readiness, and post-deployment adoption.

Work you'll do

The service you will provide the Deloitte project team as an Accounting Contractor will include:

• Support Tekion ARC deployments with a focus on dealership accounting modules and day-to-day accounting workflows
• Work with dealership accounting teams during transitions from legacy dealer management systems to Tekion ARC
• Deliver hands-on training for dealership office staff based on store workflows, chart of accounts, and month-end accounting processes
• Identify accounting process gaps, reconciliation issues, and configuration issues during implementation and early adoption
• Support setup and validation activities for deal accounting, flooring, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank deposits, and financial statement mapping

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of dealership accounting experience in automotive retail
• Experience in Controller, Office Manager, or dealership accounting positions
• Experience training dealership office staff on dealer management system workflows or month-end accounting processes
• Experience implementing, supporting, or migrating dealer management system accounting modules, including CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, DealerSocket, Dealertrack, or Tekion
• Experience with deal posting and reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, flooring or floorplan accounting, financial statement preparation, month-end close, and manufacturer accounting
• Experience supporting go-live events or operational transitions for dealership accounting teams
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Preferred:

• Experience with Tekion Automotive Retail Cloud (ARC)
• Experience supporting dealer management system migrations for dealership accounting teams
• Experience with chart of accounts setup and financial statement mapping
• Experience working with Controllers, Office Managers, and dealership accounting staff during system implementations

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $40-$60 per hour.  The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
