Work you'll do

As a Cloud Developer Contractor, you will support the Deloitte project team by developing, testing, and maintaining cloud-based data governance and data quality solutions using Informatica’s IDMC platform. You’ll build Data Quality rules and Data Catalog/Data Governance components, support testing cycles, and triage/debug/fix defects to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable outcomes

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement IDMC-based solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Build and enhance Data Quality assets (rules, checks, scorecards/metrics, monitoring) in Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
  • Configure and support Data Catalog / Data Governance components in Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) (e.g., cataloging, classifications, metadata curation, governance workflows where applicable).
  • Integrate new IDMC solutions with existing enterprise systems and data sources to ensure end-to-end functionality and performance.
  • Optimize cloud solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (business, data owners/stewards, engineering, QA) to gather requirements and translate them into implementable technical solutions.
  • Support SIT/UAT and other testing cycles: triage defects, debug issues, remediate bugs, and document fixes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud applications, data pipelines, connectivity, and platform configuration.
  • Produce clear technical documentation (design notes, configuration details, runbooks, defect root-cause summaries).

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience building solutions in Informatica IDMC, specifically:
    • Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ)
    • Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC)
  • Demonstrated ability to support testing cycles (SIT/UAT), including defect triage, debugging, and rapid fixes.
  • Strong understanding of data quality concepts (profiling, rule design, validation checks, monitoring, exception handling).
  • Experience integrating cloud data solutions with upstream/downstream systems and data sources.
  • Strong communication skills to support onshore stakeholder collaboration and requirements translation.
  • Ability to work PST hours and be onsite in California when required/preferred.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $ 65 - $70 per hour. The exact pay rate    will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
