Contractor - Hybrid (Onsite/Remote)  Whippany, New Jersey 



Work you'll do

The work you’ll do as a contractor under a Deloitte project team. 


Support Tier 1 investment bank clients and their back-office teams with the operational aspects of banking activities and processing of trade related activities.

Support the delivery of programs in relation to the Procurement Value Plan which include PMO projects and the execution of programs.

  • Ability to leverage relationships with senior stakeholders across the bank and operate as a ‘trusted business advisor’ representing Procurement.
  • Ensure that business as usual function and procurement strategies are aligned, and act as key interface to all Procurement domains.
  • Obtain relevant commercial information from the strategic planning process and change portfolio to feed into Category Plans/Procurement agenda.
  • Work with Sourcing and Supplier Management domains to drive Supply Base Optimization, seeking to align services under group wide agreements.
  • Work with stakeholders (business and functions) to establish demand road-map, which can be translated into resource requirements for the Sourcing execution functions. 
  • Understand relevant supply market and business knowledge pertinent to 3rd party Outsourcing services.
  • Develop financial and business planning skills, appropriate for understanding and managing high value and strategically important benefits.
  • Project Management skills to act as lead delivery for procurement and business change programs.
 

Qualifications

  • Graduate or undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related field
  • Strong experience in banking operations.
  • We require someone who can lead conversations, execute on queries and programs of work and who will execute tasks in line with quality and timescales.

  • Strong understanding of financial instruments
  • Ability to work independently
  • Minimal of 5-10 years’ experience in Procurement or Banking Operations, or Supply Chain

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $75 to $80 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
