The Work You’ll Do as a contractor under a Deloitte Project Team

Support Tier 1 investment bank clients and their back-office teams with the operational aspects of banking activities and processing of trade related activities. 

The Market Data Financial Management (MDFM) team is responsible for the end-to-end management of all market data services on behalf of BI, BUK and BX. This process includes managing business requirements and demand challenge, vendor on-boarding & contract management, request and provisioning processes, management of rights-to-use and entitlements, external audits as well as invoicing, inventory, and declaration management.

  • Deliver cost reduction in 2025 through execution of interlocked book of work. 
  • Evolve and advance the client's vendor consolidation and displacement strategy that leverages a select number of Strategic Partner Vendor Enterprise agreements
  • Evolve and enhance our data driven insights to improve commercial leverage and business outcomes
  • Create a repository of Use Cases which builds the user profiles to link to the Service Catalogue
  • Accelerate innovation in the Market Data ecosystem with a focus on emerging technologies such as Gen AI

Qualifications 

  • In depth market data experience - preferably knowledge of alternative options and experience of displacements (5 – 10 years of experience)
  • Investment Banking or Financial Markets industry experience, specifically within a Market Data BA and/or Vendor Manager.
  • Ability to think holistically and 'join dots' across organization in terms of use of market data services and vendors
  • Financial modeling skills
  • Ability to navigate complex organization with minimal direction
  • Ability to find consensus requirements among competing demands and priorities
  • Attention to detail and governance
  • Ability to use detailed analysis and facts to robustly challenge status quo and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to converse/present at senior forums
  • Ability to drive forward completion of actions. 
Preferred Skills:

  • Prefer Master's Degree in finance, economics or business or Bachelor degree with equivalent work experience. 
  •  Hybrid with two days onsite at client's office in New York.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $55 - $60 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
