Work you'll do

The business solution analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translates them into clear, technical requirements, prioritizing them based on value and feasibility.

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

Possesses a strong understanding of technology, software development, and the technical landscape of the product.

• Requirement Gathering & Prioritization

• Product Backlog Management:

Manages the product backlog, ensuring it's well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with the product vision and roadmap.

• Technical Roadmap Development:

Helps develop and maintain a technical roadmap that aligns with the overall product roadmap, ensuring technical feasibility and scalability.

• Stakeholder Communication:

Acts as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment on product goals and priorities.

• Collaboration with Development Teams:

Works closely with development teams to ensure that technical requirements are understood and implemented effectively.

• Technical Decision-Making:

Provides technical guidance and makes decisions related to the product's technical architecture, implementation, and development.

• Risk Management:

Identifies and mitigates potential technical risks and issues, ensuring the product is delivered on time and within budget.

• Quality Assurance:

Collaborates with QA teams to ensure that the product meets quality standards and performs as expected.

• Problem Solving:

Addresses technical issues and problems that arise during the product development lifecycle.

• SAFe Framework:

Familiar with and actively participates in SAFe methodologies and ceremonies (e.g., PI planning, backlog grooming etc).

Skills:

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development, programming languages, databases, and relevant technologies.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve technical problems and challenges.

• Prioritization Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and features based on value and feasibility.

• Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities.


Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • 10+ years of experience working in supporting multiple software projects in various IT roles.
  • 8+ years of Product Owner, Business Analyst or System Analysis experience
  • Expertise with backlog management using Azure Devops (ADO).
  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $75-$100 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
