Location: Hybrid- Dallas, TX 2-3x days onsite

Work you'll do

As a Cloud Developer Contractor, you will support the Deloitte project team by building, testing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements. Develop and implement cloud-based applications and services, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

This individual will integrate new cloud solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. Optimize cloud applications for performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud applications and infrastructure.

The position requires strong communication skills as the individual will engagement with functional leaders as well as internal partners and in some cases external entities, vendors, and business partners. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • You may manage multiple assignments at any given time focusing on implementation.
  • Integrate application architecture with emerging technologies and develop solutions that help drive complexity reduction.
  • Participate in the definition of logical reference architectures, best practice, patterns, maturity model and roadmaps.
  • Participate in the definition of technical capabilities to guide and collaborate with technical and business analysts.
  • Communicate and educate key stakeholders on the strategies and usage of application architecture efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:  

  • 3-5 + years of experience in information technology, systems architecture, systems design, and/or systems engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields (STEM)
  • Optimize cloud applications for performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud applications and infrastructure. Previously developed, delivered and supported enterprise scale applications.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of using Data Build Tool (DBT)
  • Demonstrate a knowledge and experience in developing MaTillion and Snowflake
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with others in a collaborative and constructive manner.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

·        Project Management Experience & Certification (e.g. PMP)

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $65-75 per hour.  The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
