Work you'll do

A Contract System Engineer with experience in EPIC bridges (preferred) and Cloverleaf with ability to work on HL7 integrations inbound and outbound to Epic between all applications and 3rd parties. Experience in Azure DevOps. Responsible for mapping conversion of data e.g. new clinic/hospital onboarding.

The work you’ll do under a Deloitte Project Team:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces between hospital's Epic Bridges and various healthcare information systems utilizing Cloverleaf HL7 engine
  • Will require to work on error handling in Cloverleaf engine and Epic Bridges (preferred)
  • Documentation skills such as - Application understanding, change management etc.
  • Understand Service Level Agreement (SLA) methodology and follow the same as per engagement requirements
  • Requirement gathering with the client stakeholders and IT teamsWork with stakeholders and IT team to troubleshoot Epic system issues and problems related to break-fixes and other support activities
  • Resolve issues or incidents reported by end users and escalate any quality issues or risks with team leads/scrum masters/project leadersWork with end-users to help communicate enhancements/improvements needed for business processes
  • Provides outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient careBasic knowledge of messaging formats used in healthcare integration (HL7, FHIR, EDI, CSV, XML, etc.)
  • Work with healthcare/clinical data domains and conceptsLeverage agile development methodologies

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in Epic Bridges.
  • Experience in designing, building, and managing interfaces using the Cloverleaf integration engine
Preferred:
  • Experience in Cloud environment like Azure
  • Knowledge of development, testing, deployment, and management
  • Experience in two or more programming languages (tcl and Xlate)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulations that impact hospitals and clinics preferred
  • Experience with Business concepts, processes, information, and data
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to story tell

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $70 to $80 per hour.  The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
