Position Summary
Work you'll do
The services you will provide the Deloitte project team as a Corticon Software Developer Contractor, you will be responsible for developing, creating, and modifying software applications to meet business requirements and enhance system performance.
- Help us handle software dependencies by building services that automatically generate Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs).
- Address critical regulatory reporting and compliance needs for all of our customers and future customers.
- Work in a multi-functional, security focused team to integrate security analysis tools into security capabilities.
- Help build and deploy scalable microservices that support software development teams and products.
- Work in an Agile environment with a team that partners and cares deeply about our client's customer experience.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Corticon developer.
- Experience with the following tech stack: Python, Kubernetes, AWS S3, SQS, RDS, SQL Databases (Postgresql a plus).
- Familiarity with SBOMs and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) technologies (Snyk Open Source, Syft or similar technologies).
- Knowledgeable about Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) or CycloneDX reporting formats.
- Have an appreciation for developers to help enable development vs.hindering it.
- Be ambitious with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $55.00 to $70.00 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
