Java Developer Contractor
Remote

Work you'll do

The Services you will provide the Deloitte Project Team as a Java Developer Contractor include:
  • Support the development and maintenance of Java-based applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and reliability of applications, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality. Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and frameworks to recommend and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Fullstack Java with demonstrable experience with:
    • jQuery/jQuery templates
    • Vanilla JavaScript
    • JSP/JSPF
    • KO or Knockout JS
    • Apache Tiles
  • Work with customers, solution architects, and peers to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain technical solutions.
  • Communicate/present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assist development team members in implementing technical solutions and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Develop an understanding of customer process and contribute to functional requirement documentation Qualifications 
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $50 - $55 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
