The Work You’ll Do as a contractor Under a Deloitte Project Team includes helping our leadership determine the best technology solutions to meet their desired virtual or hybrid meeting outcomes. In this contractor role you will work with third parties and vendors on the intended design of meetings, video conferences and other events in conjunction with US Meeting and Event Services, US Event Enablement, and/or Global Programs.

Key Responsibilities as a Contractor:

Responsible for the execution of a variety of event technology solutions, provide audio/visual consultation, including virtual registration, mobile apps, virtual events, hybrid events, meeting hub and digital production.

Experience with a various event technology platforms and AV equipment (Virtual and Web Conferencing Platforms, Gamification, Attendance/Registration tracking, Appointment Scheduling, Mobile Apps, Communications, Event Analytics, & etc.).

Experience taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to juggle many different tasks, skilled communication with a diverse audience, including ability to propose solutions and explanations in writing and collaborate with a wide range of teams to oversee events.

Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes. Propose best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability. Maintain technology documentation and operational upkeep for Audio Video applications/products.

Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive proposed resolutions.

Evaluate new applications/products and maintains standards for firm audio/visual technology and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; 2-4 years of related experience with live production and collaboration technology/platforms. A background in broadcast/video production.
  • Excellent judgment with authority and discretion to handle most cases. Would work closely with leadership and other technical experts on unique cases and issues.
Required Technical Skills:
• Working knowledge in the technology necessary to support virtual/in-office events. Including, but not limited to Zoom, Teams, WebEx and other industry standard streaming platforms.
• Limits the use of technical jargon in communications with non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrates knowledge of key aspects of processes that measure performance.
• Monitors identified risks and notifies leadership of issues that may have an impact on an organization.
• Develops processes and workflows.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles.
• Understands and articulates current technology offerings, frameworks, methods and tools.
• Understands and monitors issues and trends with collaborative experiences.
• Understanding of industry common standards for video mixing, encoding, routing, editing, and streaming for live events.
• An understanding of concepts of streaming/broadcast production, video equipment including switchers, audio boards, routers, GFX creation, cameras, lighting, microphones and other relevant production equipment is required
• Knowledge of video codecs and playback equipment, and industry standard protocols.
• Experience with TriCaster, NDI, and Blackmagic production equipment preferred.
• Basic networking knowledge preferred.
• Demonstrate an aptitude for staging, lighting, camera and audio setup.

Must have Skills: 
Team is looking for candidates with production/live streaming experience more geared towards video engineering, basic networking, switching, vision mixer, PTZ cameras, lighting and audio engineering along with the above-mentioned skills.
 
This role is hybrid/onsite Washington DC
Some travel required (30%)

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $50 to $70 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
