Our team is seeking a highly skilled Fusion Incentive Compensation Architect to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business success. The Fusion Incentive Compensation Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Fusion Incentive Compensation. This role requires a deep understanding of data integration, data management, and customer data platforms and how they operate within the Oracle EPM and Oracle Cx technology stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving and client communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role demands a self-motivated, independent problem solver who is passionate about delving into intricate details, raising pertinent questions, making informed recommendations, and driving impactful results.
Work you’ll do
- Solution Architecture and Design:
- Design and architect scalable solutions using Fusion Incentive Compensation to manage and optimize customer compensation plans and pay metrics.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and data models to support business requirements.
- Identify technical design and data model risks, confirm their validity, and devise strategies to mitigate them.
- Actively participate in technical design and data model workshops alongside Engineering Teams and business stakeholders.
- Clearly translate and communicate technical requirements and solutions to the business using story-based narratives, and present strategies and recommendations to executives.
- Data Integration and ETL Processes:
- Integrate various data sources (e.g., EPM, Oracle Sales Planning, HCM, CRM, ERP, EDM, APEX).
- Implement data pipelines and workflows to automate data integration tasks.
- Client Communication and Program Management:
- Adhere strictly to established project planning methodologies and Agile development processes.
- Lead sessions to understand client needs in technical Fusion Incentive Compensation requirements, and act as a crucial technical resource throughout the implementation process.
- Assess client requirements, propose effective solutions, and communicate the capabilities and limitations of Fusion Incentive Compensation, APEX, EDM and other Oracle Cx applications.
- Identify client process pain points and gaps in current best practices.
- Customization and Configuration:
- Customize Fusion Incentive Compensation to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom attributes, segments, and data models.
- Configure data connectors and integrations to external systems and applications.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, sales, IT, and data science, to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to Fusion Incentive Compensation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Fusion Incentive Compensation solutions.
- Documentation and Best Practices:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development, integration, and customization processes.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in customer data management and Fusion Incentive Compensation.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
The team
Deloitte’s Sales Planning and Performance Management team helps organizations enable their go-to-market and coverage strategy by designing and deploying right-sized territories and salesrep assignments along with appropriate quotas to drive the right sales behavior. We focus on a variety of sales planning capabilities such as segmentation and tiering, capacity planning, territory and quota planning and maintenance, sales org design, sales effectiveness assessment and sales forecasting to name a few. Additionally, we design, build and operate complex data ecosystems to support the sales planning function and enable related operational and analytical/predictive reporting.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation.
- Proven experience in data integration, data management, and data analytics.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Experience with APIs and data integration tools.
- Strong understanding of data privacy and security principles.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cx applicaitons
- Experience with Oracle EPM & Sales Planning, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle APEX
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
