Position Summary

Contractor - Remote

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Oracle OTM Consultant to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business success. The Oracle OTM Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Oracle Transportation Management. This role requires a deep understanding of transportation logistics, data integration, and supply chain management within the Oracle OTM technology stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving and client communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role demands a self-motivated, independent problem solver who is passionate about delving into intricate details, raising pertinent questions, making informed recommendations, and driving impactful results.

Work you’ll do

Solution Architecture and Design:

  • Design and architect scalable solutions using Oracle OTM to manage and optimize transportation logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and data models to support business requirements.
  • Identify technical design and data model risks, confirm their validity, and devise strategies to mitigate them.
  • Actively participate in technical design workshops alongside Engineering Teams and business stakeholders.
  • Clearly translate and communicate technical requirements and solutions to the business using story-based narratives, and present strategies and recommendations to executives.

The Team:

Deloitte’s Supply Chain and Network Operations team helps organizations enable their go-to-market and coverage strategy by designing and deploying right-sized logistics and transportation management solutions. We focus on a variety of supply chain capabilities such as transportation planning, logistics optimization, supply chain visibility, and performance management. Additionally, we design, build, and operate complex data ecosystems to support the supply chain function and enable related operational and analytical/predictive reporting.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Oracle OTM.
  • Proven experience in data integration, data management, and data analytics.
  • Experience working with transportation management platforms across logistics and supply chain technology stacks.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with APIs and data integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy and security principles.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP and WMS applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $120 to $130 per hour.  The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
