The services You will provide the Deloitte project team: as a Data Engineer Contractor

 

  • Deep understanding of RedPoint Data Management (RPDM) to design and develop enterprise data integration solutions. Design and develop scalable, high-performance data workflows and integration solutions using RPDM
  • Define data transformation, matching, and cleansing strategies aligned to business and data quality requirements
  • Collaborate with data architects to evolve platform capabilities and ensure consistency with enterprise standards
  • Work with business and IT stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable RPDM solutions
  •  Build, test, and optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and quality
  •  Collaborate in the design of data warehouse structures and support downstream analytics and reporting teams
  •  Document solution designs, workflow logic, and operational runbooks
  • Support continuous improvement of development practices
  •  Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security requirements
  •  Provide technical solution guidance to development teams using RPDM

 

  • designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise data solutions in collaboration with team members.
  • experience, strong expertise in data cleansing and matching, and a solid background in data warehousing.
  •  Experience operating with minimal oversight, can translate requirements into technical design, and deliver robust, scalable RPDM solutions within complex data ecosystems.

 

Required Qualifications

  •  10+ years of overall experience in data engineering and data integration
  •  8+ years of hands-on experience with RPDM, including solution design as well as workflow development and automation
  •  Proven experience designing complex data pipelines for integration, cleansing, and matching
  •  Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, dimensional modeling, and relational database structures
  •  Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and performance tuning
  •  Demonstrated ability to interpret business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills across technical and business teams

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• 5+ years in a technical lead role, with demonstrated responsibility for designing and delivering enterprise data architecture

• Experience in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of HIPAA or similar regulatory frameworks

• Familiarity with data governance, quality assurance, and master data management (MDM) practices

• Experience working with or designing integrations using RESTful APIs

• Experience with Snowflake, including security and monitoring features

• Experience with analytics and reporting platforms such as Power BI or Tableau

 

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $95 to $100 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
