We are seeking a hands-on Data Warehouse Contractor to design, develop, and support next-generation analytical data products and data pipelines. This role is focused on building scalable, reliable, and high-quality data solutions in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy analytical data products and data pipelines
- Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines with strong focus on scalability, performance, reliability, and data quality
- Work hands-on with SQL, Spark, and Scala in a production environment
- Support data modeling, analytics, and metric design activities
- Investigate complex data issues and turn findings into actionable insights
- Work with modern data platforms and lakehouse technologies such as Iceberg, Trino, and Superset
- Contribute to AI/ML-adjacent data products when needed, including feature engineering, GenAI, and RAG support
Required Qualifications
- 6–9 years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse development
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Spark, and Scala
- Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
- Experience with modern data platforms and lakehouse technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data modeling, analytics, and metric design
- Exposure to AI/ML, recommendation systems, feature engineering, GenAI, or RAG
- Experience supporting AI-powered data products
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $60 - $70 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
