Position Summary

The Data Warehouse Contractor will provide services to the Deloitte project team by designing, building, and supporting data warehouse and master data management solutions for reporting and business intelligence needs. This role includes data modeling, extract, transform, and load (ETL) development, data quality validation, and platform configuration across multiple source systems. The contractor will also translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and support ongoing performance and production needs.

Work you'll do

The service you will provide the Deloitte project team as a Data Warehouse Contractor will include:

  • Develop master data management and data warehouse solutions using established software development life cycle practices.
  • Gather business and data requirements from stakeholders and communicate development activities and status updates.
  • Configure framework-based solutions that support business rules, data quality, and performance requirements.
  • Apply out-of-the-box platform features and process improvements to reduce custom development where feasible.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with distributed project team members across locations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in data warehouse, extract transform load (ETL), or master data management development.
  • Experience developing master data management hub solutions, including cleanse, security, packages, queries, and hierarchy management components.
  • Experience configuring consolidation models, trust frameworks, match and merge rules, cleanse functions, and provisioning tool task types and triggers.
  • Experience developing business entity framework user interfaces, including manual match and merge workflows.
  • Ability to write Structured Query Language (SQL) queries, functions, and procedures for master data management solutions.
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Rockefeller Plaza, New York area 1-2 days per week.

Preferred:

  • Experience with ActiveVOS workflow development and customization.
  • Experience developing business entity services external calls.
  • Experience writing Java web services.
  • Experience configuring master data management file import processes.
  • Experience integrating Informatica PowerCenter ETL with SAP systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $60 - $65 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
