We are seeking a Full Stack Developer Contractor to support a Deloitte project team by developing, maintaining, testing, and optimizing both front-end and back-end web application components. This role requires strong experience building scalable, maintainable, secure, and defect-free applications, with close collaboration across project managers, designers, developers, and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using front-end and back-end programming languages and frameworks.
- Design and implement responsive user interfaces with a focus on user experience.
- Develop server-side logic, define and maintain databases, and ensure high application performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, developers, and functional/technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers and project team members, escalating issues as needed.
- Lead and support client workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes.
- Implement leading-practice workflows and help address quality gaps and operational outcomes.
- Write maintainable, adaptable, scalable, and defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards.
- Apply practices such as software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, Test-Driven Development (TDD), static code analysis, and peer/code review.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
- Deliver technical demonstrations as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer.
- 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, Angular, and HTML.
- 7+ years of experience with Spring, Node.js, and MySQL.
- 7+ years of experience with MongoDB, GitHub, Docker, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Strong experience developing maintainable, scalable, secure applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to operate independently or with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and technical presentation skills.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $60 - $65 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
