Work you'll do

The IT Technical Contractor supports the delivery of complex IT programs for the assigned business unit. This role works with business and technology stakeholders to coordinate priorities, support execution, and improve delivery processes across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings strong IT project/program management experience, advanced DevOps project experience, and a practical, process-driven approach to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business unit leaders to identify and shape high-impact initiatives that support business strategy.
  • Support complex, cross-functional IT programs from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Ensure programs are well-structured, effectively governed, and executed with discipline.
  • Contribute in stakeholder alignment, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear status reporting.
  • Support process improvement and consistent delivery practices across the assigned business area.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT project or program management.
  • Strong experience leading complex IT initiatives in cross-functional environments.
  • Advanced experience managing DevOps-related projects or programs.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and enhance delivery consistency.
  • Energetic, dynamic, and innovative approach to leadership and execution.
  • Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving as a technical SME for a business-facing IT organization.
  • Background in enterprise program governance, delivery management, or transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and modern delivery practice

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $ 90 - $100 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
