Work you'll do

As an Industry SME Contractor specializing in data centre services, you will utilize your advanced expertise and well-established industry presence to accelerate Data centre nationwide expansion in the public sector. You will collaborate directly with Deloitte project teams and a diverse range of client stakeholders to contribute in identifying opportunities, shape strategy, and open new pathways. Your trusted network of CIOs and CTOs will provide immediate market credibility and enable rapid access to key decision-makers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute in the strategic growth and market penetration of Deloitte’s Data Center services across government and education sectors by leveraging your network.
  • Identify new business opportunities and shape go-to-market strategies in close alignment with Deloitte’s leadership and business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of data center trends, regulatory and compliance frameworks, emerging technologies, and evolving client needs to inform business development and project execution.
  • Contribute in delivering comprehensive reports, compelling presentations, and actionable recommendations tailored to government sector clients, ensuring clarity on risks, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary Deloitte teams to embed leading-edge data center, cloud, networking, and energy practices into all client deliverables.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in client meetings, workshops, and industry forums, addressing nuanced technical, regulatory, and operational questions with authority.
  • Support the development of customized strategic plans and roadmaps for public sector clients, ensuring solutions are compliant, resilient, and future-ready.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Distinguished recognition in the data center industry, with individual name recognition and a portfolio of published works and conference presentations.
  • Ex-CIO/CTO or demonstrable strong relationships with government sector CIOs/CTOs, enabling market access and lasting client partnerships.
  • Deep technical capability and credibility in infrastructure, data centers, cloud computing, networking, and energy solutions.
  • Proven record of success in shaping and executing strategic data center initiatives within the government sector.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $320 - $330 per hour.  The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
