Work you'll do

The services you will provide the Deloitte project team:  We are looking for a Personnel Security Officer (PSO) to assist its Industrial Security Team with management and administration of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community (IC) contracts and assist with updating and maintaining the company’s various systems of record. PSO is a meticulously organized self-starter, has experience performing PSO functions for DoD and IC programs, and be able to prioritize and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Need to work onsite in Reston, VA 5 days a week.

Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate GPS program security contract delivery while complying with government and client standards. Client will provide the PSO with specific government customer compliance standards. 
  • Communicate with government customers, program delivery managers, and the industrial security team, and compile and provide metrics regarding the status and progress of contract personnel, systems, execution, and support. 
  • Provide support to clients Personnel Security and facility-related functions, interacting with SIMS and Access Commander, maintaining and updating personnel and contract records, assisting with facility support actions, and performing other related tasks as assigned. 
  • Assist the industrial security team in maintaining compliance and maximizing efficiency within the contract and personnel security vertical and provide support using existing systems, processes, and procedures.

 Minimum qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Industrial Security or a related field

• Experience with administrative tasks and functions, such as data aggregation, data entry, file organization, and compilation/presentation of metrics

• Outstanding written and verbal communication

• Active Top Secret security clearance

• The PSO must be a U.S. citizen.

• Experience with CPSO functions, to include personnel additions, changes, and terminations relating to government contract support

• Working knowledge of DISS and NBIS

• Experience with administration of security education programs

• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools and functionality

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $50-$65 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
