The Talent Development Specialist job responsibilities will include:
Manage the design, development, pilot and delivery of assigned programs.
Activities may include:
- Defining business outcomes,
- Designing the complete learning experience
- Delivering the program for transfer of learning and application to the job
- Driving follow-through to maximize transfer of knowledge, skills and capabilities to the job
- Deploying active on-the-job performance support and documenting results.
- Manage delivery components of learning programs, including participant and coach rosters, agenda creation, day-to-day interactions with Learning Delivery.
- Team with program managers to conduct research for learning programs and support content updates as needed, including documents such as course materials, communications, handouts, etc. and assist with the course content updates as appropriate.
- Create project plans and related resource plans and present to team leadership.
- Execute projects to produce deliverables that are delivered timely, high quality, and in compliance with the projects scope.
- Develop key messages and communicate around project updates to leader.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and performance consultants.
- May be asked to assist in the development of learning materials associated with the project including instructor guides, participant guides, hands-on activities, handouts, diagrams and pictures, job aids and self-study materials.
- Ensure smooth orchestration of program rollouts, materials, and distribution while meeting budget and timelines.
- Identify and escalate issues, proposing recommendations.
- Manage processes used to support the Learning team (e.g., external courses, learning history updates, website).
