Position Summary

We are seeking a Web Developer Contractor to provide advanced web development services for a Deloitte project team. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting complex web applications and websites, with an emphasis on performance, scalability, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility. The contractor will contribute deep experience in front-end development, web integration, and technical implementation across modern web environments.

Work you'll do

The service you will provide the Deloitte project team as a Web Developer Contractor will include:

• Develop, enhance, and support complex web applications and websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies
• Translate business and user requirements into functional web components, page layouts, content presentation, and performance improvements
• Integrate web applications with databases, application programming interfaces, and other enterprise applications
• Convert written, graphic, audio, and video assets into compatible web formats using appropriate development and content tools
• Support accessibility compliance, responsive behavior, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization across devices

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• 5+ years of experience building responsive websites or web applications
• 3+ years of experience integrating web applications with databases or application programming interfaces
• 3+ years of experience testing and resolving browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance issues
• Experience using browser developer tools, debugging tools, and version control systems
• Experience converting digital content into web-ready formats
• Ability to travel 100%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Ability to work onsite in the Cincinnati area 5 days per week.

Preferred:

• Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience optimizing web applications for page speed and performance
• Experience supporting websites aligned to accessibility standards such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
• Experience integrating content, media, and data from multiple source systems

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $75 - $85 per hour.  The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
