The Work You’ll Do Under the Deloitte Project Team

The Workforce Strategy and Solutions team is looking for a contractor to assist in the design of enterprise-wide strategic workforce planning initiatives. In addition to extensive workforce planning experience, the ideal candidate would have 6+ years’ experience in human capital consulting or in-depth knowledge and experience with talent topics, workforce strategy, or human centered design methodologies. Responsibilities include conducting workforce planning analysis and designing workforce planning processes, analyzing data and trends, developing compelling deliverables to communicate findings and recommendations. Candidates must have strong Microsoft and Zoom skills and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work as a part of a larger team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong strategic thinking skills to identify innovative workforce solutions
  • Analyze business strategies and business-led workforce planning activities to drive consistency and standardization
  • Consultative and analytical mindset to synthesize qualitative and quantitative workforce data into meaningful and actionable results
  • Effectively gather and interpret internal/external data trends and insights to assess talent gaps, forecast needs and model future scenarios to inform leadership decision-making
  • Develop compelling, logically structured presentations and deliverables to communicate findings, strategy and recommendations to Talent and business leaders
  • Drive end to end project deliverables; Manage the work through all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Design facilitation approaches and frameworks to engage variety of stakeholders along the project lifecycle
  • Other related tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in human capital consulting or in-depth knowledge and experience with talent topics in project-based roles; Specialized knowledge and skills in workforce strategy, workforce transformation, or human-centered design methodologies
  • Extensive workforce planning experience
  • Strong PowerPoint/Storyboard skills. Ability to create simple stories around complex topics and appeal to the needs of multiple stakeholders; Outstanding written, visual and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to host and manage Outlook Invitations and Zoom meetings with polling, multiple hosts and/or speakers, video and/or audio inserts
  •  Workforce supply/demand analysis, gap analysis, scenario or predictive modeling
  • Data analysis, KPI measurement, workforce plan development
  • Turnover trends or projected skill mix reporting
  • External labor market scan, workforce segmentation reviews
  • Knowledge of software tools including SAP, SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Workday, Anaplan
  • Skilled in the use of Tableau, SQL, R/Python or comparable data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely, informed decisions that consider data, goals, constraints, and risks from multiple perspectives
  • Proven self-starter who has demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, and ambiguous start-up environment; Agile mindset and ability to pivot and respond to unexpected project turns
  • Ability to build strong peer relationships across the Deloitte network
